He smiled and nodded “alright then” and smiled at her “of course I am, I am the luckiest guy in town, no in the world I have to most beautiful smartest girlfriend” he smirked at her and nodded “alright if you trust her then I trust her” he knew clare was good on judgement so Alli must be reliable “yeah I know but I was basically raised by my mom so no father figure but my mom taught me how to treat women” he smiled “and especially women as cute as you”
“You better!” she threatened although she wasn’t too good at pulling a menacing face and was unable to hold that expression for too long. “And I have the sweetest and cutest boyfriend ever,” she complimented back with a smile. Clare couldn’t help the blush that trailed her cheeks. His compliments were so sweet and endearing. No one had ever told her those words to her before.

“You know I’d do anything for you right?” he smiled big “thanks edwards, are you going to have anything” he kept looking at her and couldn’t believe this was happening she made him so happy he was still amazing by this situation, he listened to what she said “are you sure she’s okay with it and not just saying that” he shrugged he never believe a soc like Alli would be okay with her best friend dating someone like KC “wow that’s a shocked” he said and chuckled.
“No I ate already,” she said politely as she was told to do so whenever guests came over, feeling the need to be extra polite around KC. “You keep staring,” she chuckled as she pointed him out blatantly, “Is there something wrong or…?” she asked raising an eyebrow as she took a look down at herself in confusion. “Oh Alli! I trust her,” she said reassuringly. “She just wants me to be happy and okay,” she explained. “You Greasers don’t exactly have the best reputation towards women.”

He put his arm around her waist to hold her on his waist “babe I promise I won’t go after him” he kissed her neck, he sighed “Edwards I’ll talk to him about making piece I’m not making any promises but I’ll talk to him” he sighed he knew it was not going to go over well but he would do it for her. He put his hand on the back of of her neck so her head would face him and kissed her lips.
“Good,” she smiled before letting him kiss her fully. The oven timer sounded and Clare hopped up out of his lap to go retrieve it. Carefully setting the pizza down in front of him and taking the chair next to his after grabbing her water bottle off of the counter. “So I think Alli is going to be okay with us,” she said cheerfully, “and Jake didn’t seem to have any animosity towards the idea.”

“Edwards don’t worry about me” he smiled “I won’t go out of my way but if he starts with me I
will fire right back” he teased “torres is all talk” he shook his head and smiled “pizza sounds great” he smiled at her and sat and the kitchen table. The truth was he was not going to let Torres do anything to him KC hated torres he was a bitch who was all talk and KC would fight that battle if he had to, he would love to punch him out, that would make KC so happy.
She rolled her eyes at his response and stuck the cold pizza into the oven to reheat up.
“I really mean it KC,” she said pulling herself up to sit on the kitchen counter. “I know you won’t let him just hit you… but maybe you could just try.. just try and have some peace between you guys,” she said letting out a small sigh. She realized that by her talk, she was probably not even helping his cause. Instead, she slipped down and sat on his lap, “Just be careful alright.”

He smirked “I missed you more Edwards” and kissed her on the cheek. He followed her into the living room and smiled “well what do you have?” he asked he was actually pretty hungry his house has been low on food so he hasn’t been eating too much. He nodded “yeah most people seem like they aren’t going to do anything” he then paused “except torres but he’s a bit..” he stopped himself he is talking to clare language “I’ll just like to see him try that’s all I’m say” he smiled at her.
Clare walked over to the fridge, poking through some of the random containers that were held inside. “Um.. leftovers mostly.. There’s some pizza.. meatloaf.. leftover chinese,” she called. “I can make something to if you want,” she offered trying to find something decent amidst her kitchen as she searched through the numerous cupboards and drawers. She turned her attention back to him when he mentioned Drew. “J-Just don’t push his buttons KC,” she said shaking her head. “His temper is short enough when it comes to Greasers.”
